Tab Bar
Tabs control the content of the text frame and allow the user to access a map legend, a key map, search options, help and more.
Tool Bar
The tool bar contains a mix of buttons and map tools. Buttons are different from tools in that they carry out an action immediately on button click (refresh map), whereas map tools are used when interacting with the map (identify a map feature). Active map tools are outlined in red and indicated in the mode frame at the bottom of the application window.
	Refresh Map: Refreshes the map display.
	Zoom to Full Extent: Sets the map display to the full extent of the Regional District.
	Zoom Previous: Sets the map back to the previous extent.
	Zoom In: This tool allows you to zoom into a particular area on the map. With the tool active: "left-click" a point on the map you wish to be the centre of your selected area, or "rubberband" a window by "left-clicking" a point on the map and, while keeping the mouse button depressed, "pull" the rectangle being formed until it encompasses your area of interest, then release the mouse button.
	Zoom Out: This tool causes the map to zoom out approx. 2X it's current extent, centred on the point clicked with the mouse.
	Pan: Use this tool to shift the map display up, down, right or left.
	Clear Selection: Clears the selected set of features highlighted on the map.
	Select by Polygon: Draw a polygon that is used to select features of the active map layer that intersect or fall within the polygon shape. Double-clicking finishes polygon shape.
	Identify/Select: Clicking on the map or rubber-banding a rectangle will select features of the active layer that are found at the location clicked or within the rectangle.
	Text Markup: Will place text on the map at user click location.
	Markup: Polygon shapes can be drawn and added to the map as permanent markup shapes. Double-clicking finishes markup shape.
	Clear Markup: Clears all text and polygon markup from map.
	Measure: Clicking on the map, with double-click to finish, will display length of segment(s).
	Measure: Clicking on the map, with double-click to finish, will display the area.
	Save Map Extent as a Bookmark: Stores current map extent in a web browser cookie.
	Zoom to Bookmarked Map Extent: Retrieves a map extent from web browser cookie and zooms map to the extent.
	Print Map: Displays print options and creates a printable map.
Scale RF Textbox: Specify a map scale and click "GO" to zoom map to that scale.
